Welcome to Wedge! Wedge is a mobile application designed to help golfers keep score, track performance, and enhance their game. Wedge is owned and operated by Big Wedge Ltd. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Wedge, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.

1. Eligibility

1.1 By using Wedge, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract in your country of residence.

1.2 You may not use Wedge if doing so violates any applicable laws in your location.

2. Account Registration

2.1 To use certain features of Wedge, you may need to create an account.

2.2 You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account and to keep it updated.

2.3 You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

2.4 If you suspect unauthorised access to your account, you must notify us immediately at app@bigwedgegolf.com.

3. Use of the App

3.1 Wedge is intended for personal, non-commercial use unless we provide explicit written permission.

3.2 You agree not to:

• Use Wedge for any unlawful purpose;
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the App;
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to Wedge’s systems;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App.

3.3 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Scoring and Data Accuracy

4.1 Wedge provides golf scoring and tracking features, but we cannot guarantee the accuracy of any scores, statistics, or calculated metrics.

4.2 You acknowledge that you are responsible for verifying your own scores and complying with official golf rules and competition requirements.

4.3 Wedge should be used for informational purposes only and not as an official scoring authority unless approved by relevant golf bodies.

5. Subscription and Fees

5.1 Some features of Wedge may require payment of subscription fees in future iterations.

5.2 All payments are processed through the relevant app store under their respective terms.

5.3 Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date in your app store settings.

5.4 We may change pricing with reasonable notice.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 All intellectual property rights in Wedge (including but not limited to software, design, logos, trademarks, and content) are owned by or licensed to Big Wedge Ltd.

6.2 You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Wedge in accordance with these Terms.

6.3 You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works based on Wedge without our prior written consent.

7. User Content

7.1 You may submit data, scores, comments, or other content through Wedge.

7.2 You retain ownership of your User Content but grant Big Wedge Ltd a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, display, and process it solely for operating and improving Wedge.

7.3 You are solely responsible for ensuring your User Content does not infringe on third-party rights or break the law.

8. Privacy

8.1 Your use of Wedge is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.

8.2 By using Wedge, you consent to the collection and processing of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers

9.1 Wedge is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

9.2 We do not guarantee that Wedge will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.

9.3 You use Wedge at your own risk, and we are not responsible for any golfing losses, competition disqualifications, or other consequences resulting from reliance on Wedge data.

10. Limitation of Liability

10.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Big Wedge Ltd and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Wedge.

10.2 Our total liability to you for any claims relating to Wedge will not exceed the amount you paid (if any) in the 12 months before the claim arose.

11. Termination

11.1 We may suspend or terminate your access to Wedge at any time for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

11.2 Upon termination, your right to use Wedge will cease immediately, but clauses that by nature should survive (e.g., intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability) will remain in effect.

12. Changes to These Terms

12.1 We may update these Terms from time to time by posting a revised version in the App or on our website.

12.2 Continued use of Wedge after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

13.1 These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

13.2 Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in England and Wales.
